Prepare for the Alternative to the SBA
The Caribbean Maths Academy will host a focused CSEC Mathematics Paper 032 Workshop during March and April 2027.
Paper 032 is the examination alternative to the School-Based Assessment, Paper 031. It is intended for candidates who are completing Paper 032 in lieu of submitting an SBA project. Paper 032 consists of three optional questions—one from each module—with candidates answering one question.
The workshop will help candidates understand the structure of the paper, strengthen the skills assessed and practise responding to investigation-style questions under examination conditions.
The live online workshop will cover:
- the Paper 032 format and requirements;
- investigation-style questions;
- clear mathematical working and reasoning;
- specimen and examination-style practice; and
- time-management strategies.
